While going through a pile of former periodical issues earlier bringing them to the recycled bin, this next picture, a Ballard Designs advertizement totally got me. I liked everything nearly it, simply what actually got my attending was the trio of white vases on the table.
It was similar a "Hey, I select that item!" moment. I've had this Chinese vase for almost xx years, together with it's been stored inwards the basement for the terminal xv because its colouring textile system didn't larn amongst my abode decor whatever longer. After looking at the BD inspiration pic I knew I select to laissez passer on my vase a coat of white paint.
I know many of yous out in that place are going to scream at such sacrilege, simply I knew I was going to dear it together with purpose it fifty-fifty to a greater extent than if I painted it, equally good it's non an master copy piece, it is a inexpensive reproduction.
I also grabbed a twain of $1 vases I flora terminal twelvemonth at the flea market...
And gave them 2 coats of paint. Once again, using the home-made version of chalk pigment HERE.
I dear how the vase texture together with prissy shape are right away its top dog features.
The vases prompted me to laissez passer on the living room a novel look. Even though snowfall is yet outside, it looks similar Spring is already here.
Following my inspiration pic, the java tabular array right away sports a trio of vases ;)
White, dark-green together with yellow...Oh yeah, Spring is inwards the air!
