Best Habitation - Novel Inward Portfolio: Small-Scale Kitchen Pattern (Before&After)

I had the pleasance to piece of job alongside a lovely client inwards Switzerland on her dwelling solid renovation lately. The inaugural of all stage of the pattern included cloth alternative for the dwelling solid equally good equally a kitchen pattern from scratch. Read to a greater extent than to run across how this kitchen looked similar in addition to how is the concluding pattern nosotros both agreed on.

As y'all tin run across from the images, the kitchen is quite pocket-sized in addition to correct following to it is the dining expanse (they were originally separated past times a wall which volition hold out torn down- scroll downward to run across the earlier photos). The novel kitchen is a C sort to maximize storage in addition to countertop space, separates the kitchen in addition to dining functions nonetheless allows visual connections to the rooms in addition to permit the natural calorie-free menses seamlessly. The cabinetry is ii unlike finishes, ane is white lacquer in addition to the other a calorie-free oak finish. The countertop in addition to splashback are pinkish granite, likely my favorite accent inwards this kitchen. All appliances are integrated in addition to at that topographic point are no handles in addition to pulls for a to a greater extent than streamlined result.

Another favorite constituent of this pattern is the corner bench that hugs the dining tabular array in addition to creates a practical in addition to cozy nook for everyday activities. The master stance was to separate the kitchen in addition to dining alongside a pocket-sized bar alongside ii barstools that was intended for breakfast in addition to snacking. It was my client's stance to contain a bench in addition to truly utilization the bar equally its dorsum in addition to I can't hold out to a greater extent than thankful for that. It turned out great! Due to the pocket-sized size of the dining area, the tabular array is expandable in addition to tin sit down upward to 10 inwards its total length when needed. The dark metallic frame divider is used on the side past times side wall to the hall in addition to apart from existence all that pretty, it allows natural calorie-free to an otherwise windowless area.

Best Abode - Novel Inwards Portfolio: Cozy Living Room Inwards Warm Neutral Tones

Now that it is in conclusion coming to an end, I’m really excited to portion amongst you lot my latest e-design project I’d been working on for the yesteryear months. You mightiness recognize the infinite when you lot run across the next photos every bit I exercise accept shared it before hither on the blog.

For a quick reference, this is a house renovation in addition to ornament e-design project I did for a immature twosome inwards Switzerland. The menage had been torn downwards to pieces (well non quite literally) in addition to at that spot had been a major floorplan layout alter (staircase removed, rooms switched place, novel openings etc only that’s non something to speak virtually here).

So, inwards collaboration amongst their local architect, I helped my clients start to design their kitchen, guided them through their bathrooms designs in addition to and then to decorate the whole house.

In the start stage of the design, nosotros finalized the kitchen in addition to material alternative throughout the menage thus that they could boot the bucket on to the structure amongst their local contractor in addition to nosotros left the slice of furniture ordering for after on when they'd genuinely accept a finished infinite to house them in.

As the menage was coming together, nosotros started working on the minute business office of the design, which was the decoration phase.

I created moodboard collages with production selections for all the rooms (living room, dining room, main bedchamber in addition to bathroom, invitee room, library in addition to WC) along amongst detailed floorplans of the slice of furniture in addition to accents placements. After client’s approval, I sent over the detailed shopping lists amongst the links to all the products I suggested for all the rooms thus that they could view the stores in addition to purchase at their ain pace. Almost all of the products where flora at Swiss online stores thus at that spot would hold out every bit trivial transportation costs every bit possible.

The clients too requested the opened upwards surface area (living room, dining room in addition to kitchen) to hold out presented every bit 3d visualizations so they could become a improve vision of their domicile earlier proceeding to slice of furniture in addition to accessories purchases every bit good every bit accept a visual conduct to how to manner the infinite afterward. So, these are the 3ds of their (still nether construction) living room :)

We kept a warm neutral palette for this room and, inspired yesteryear the pinkish granite countertop inwards the kitchen, nosotros introduced muted pinks inwards the decor. There are too splashes of deep dark-green inwards the dining room which I experience add together a welcoming contrast to the palette in addition to convey about of nature’s freshness indoors.

There are lots of lite woods, woven textures, linens in addition to earthwares that emphasize the natural vibes and, along amongst the extra textiles in addition to candles, exercise a hygge surroundings for the clients to relax in addition to enjoy.

I wishing I could present you lot the residuum of the rooms every bit good only I'm afraid I don't accept the 3ds for them! I will, however, maintain you lot updated when clients ship over photos of their finished domicile :)

If you lot similar my style in addition to aesthetics in addition to wishing to work amongst me on an e-design projection for your domicile delight don't hesitate to contact me amongst your asking (wherever inwards the public you lot alive in!).
*FYI, I am currently fully booked only I'll hold out happy to reserve a spot for you lot every bit shortly every bit 1 opens up.

Best Dwelling - Novel Inwards Portfolio: Marble In Addition To Forest Bath Design

Remember this kitchen renovation e-design project I did a land agone for the novel dwelling solid of a lovely menage unit of measurement inwards Belgium? I'm thrilled to portion amongst you lot today notwithstanding some other room nosotros completed inwards their home, the master copy bathroom. If you lot encounter the earlier photos (scroll downward to the bottom of this post) together with then you'll in all likelihood concur that this room was inwards a critical quest for a novel design, non exclusively for the sake of aesthetics but also for functional together with hygiene reasons every bit well.

Click later the jump for to a greater extent than details close the projection every bit good every bit the 3d visualizations of the blueprint proposal (the projection is currently nether construction).

THE CLIENT NEEDS

- double sink
- freestanding bathtub
- hidden toilet
- shower cabin
- tiles that shroud the everyday usage together with dirt
- convey out the wooden ceiling beams together with comprise them into the design

THE CHALLENGE

To live able to combine all the to a higher identify uses inwards a less than vii m²  (75 ft²) space.

THE DESIGN SOLUTION

The layout

The bath was divided into ii zones amongst the assist of ii brusk walls amongst drinking glass panels. The commencement zone, the ane you lot walk into every bit you lot motion into through the door, includes the freestanding bathtub together with the double sink land the instant zone has the lavatory together with the shower.

The ii zones are also defined yesteryear the dissimilar usage of materials. Thursday commencement zone has white painted walls land the instant zone has tiled walls.

The materials

We wanted to practise a welcoming luxurious feeling amongst a spa vibe that is also kid-friendly together with slow to usage together with keep daily. The tile is a greyness marble that is considerably forgiving to the spills together with spots every bit it has plentiful veins together with colouring variations. It is, on the other hand, a really chic cloth that, combined amongst the woods, gives a really elegant result. As I wanted to croak along a continuity on the walls together with floors at that topographic point is exclusively ane type of tile inwards the room.

The sink cabinet, the ceiling beams together with the shower tray are all a medium stained wood. The fine art frames together with the stool are a lighter wood.

The fixtures together with fittings are chrome which adds an extra send upon of sheen together with elegance.

The linen roman shade inwards the window together with the plush white towels add together texture together with coziness.

The mirror

Since the bath is quite small, nosotros decided to accept a wall vanity mirror that extended to all sides every bit much every bit possible. The mirror is against the large window together with that also multiplies the natural lite inwards the room.

The wooden ceiling beams

The span was really lucky to accept these slim wooden beams on their ceiling which accept been covered yesteryear a really ugly dropped ceiling (see earlier photos at the halt of the post). They accept been a exceed guidance for the whole bath concept together with deeply inspired us towards the lastly blueprint direction.

The storage

Since the span has an extra storage room correct side yesteryear side to the bath they were non inwards quest of a heavy charge of storage solutions. That was a large pro every bit it helped us croak along the blueprint every bit lite every bit possible. The storage options inwards the bath are the sink drawers, the drinking glass shelves to a higher identify the lavatory together with a wooden stool to adjust all the temporary bath necessities.

The lighting

There are ii pendant lamps on each side of the sink together with six ceiling fixtures placed on a grid betwixt the wooden beams. The fixtures are quite minimalistic together with inwards black, every bit I wanted to croak along the focus on the other materials together with non on the lamps. The dark colouring adds a desirable contrast to the otherwise neutral palette.

THE BEFORE

E-DESIGN SERVICE

This is an e-design projection I did for my clients inwards Kingdom of Belgium (which is inwards a whole dissimilar the world than the ane I alive in). I never laid pes on their belongings nor volition I during or later the construction. And, that is the magic of e-design! To piece of job amongst clients from all to a greater extent than or less the basis yesteryear providing simply the correct blueprint information for them to live able to practise their dream spaces all yesteryear themselves or amongst the assist of a local constructor. This bath e-design bundle included a concept moodboard, detailed 2nd drawings, 3d visualizations and a shopping listing amongst all the links to the products used therefore they tin store at their ain pace. All information, conversations together with deliverables were made via electronic mail correspondence.

If you lot similar my style together with aesthetics together with wishing to piece of job amongst me on an e-design projection for your dwelling solid (or business) delight don't hesitate to contact me amongst your asking (wherever inwards the basis you lot alive in!).
*FYI, I am currently fully booked but I'll live happy to reserve a spot for you lot every bit shortly every bit ane opens up.
