Hi everyone! Just every bit I promised, today I'm giving you lot an update on how things are going amongst the cupboard inwards my son's room. In the initiative of all moving painting you lot tin run across how he kept it, or ameliorate yet, you lot tin run across past times the amount of clothes inwards there, that he didn't exercise it! I ended the twenty-four hr menstruum then tired, showered inwards dust, merely happy amongst how opened upward it looked.
Next up, the edifice phase. First, a base of operations was created out of two x 6's, in addition to it was covered amongst plywood.
Then, iii sheets of 23/32" plywood were ripped inwards thirds to create the towers/shelves. They were primed in addition to painted earlier assembling them.
I marked where each shelf should live placed.
And, since I wanted to install drawers, pieces of 1 x 2's were added for extra support.
The drawer slides were screwed to those supports.
Before attaching all the pieces together, I brought them upward to the room, otherwise it would've been impossible to move!
Once inwards place, they looked puny compared to all the run done! But hey, it was outset to await good. :)
So, dorsum to work...

I was then glad, I called my customer to demo the progress.
He said: "They await great, merely I don't similar them white!"
The customer has the lastly word.
sigh.
I brought them down, added a beadboard wallpaper left from this projection inwards the kitchen, painted the whole affair Ottertail - dark-brown in addition to Ahhhh... I had a happy client! :)
