It's a adept matter that I alive inwards the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area.  Every fourth dimension I get got visitors I get got enough of places to get got them.  This week, my sis Claudia was the i who enjoyed a beautiful 24-hour interval sightseeing the Nation's Capital.


Jefferson Memorial

Our 24-hour interval began at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, my kickoff fourth dimension visiting it.  It opened to the populace on August, 2011.

It's located on a corner of the Tidal Basin.  Here, my sister's at the MLK,Jr. Memorial overlooking the Jefferson Memorial.

From hither nosotros headed to the Lincoln Memorial, exactly on our agency there, nosotros stopped yesteryear at the Korean War Veterans Memorial.

From here, nosotros walked all the agency to the Jefferson Memorial.

That was the destination of our day.  My 2 kiddos were non that happy to last re-visiting these final monuments, particularly amongst all the walking involved. :/
