I unremarkably brand envelope pillow covers because get-go of all, they're easy, they don't need a zipper or complicated closure in addition to I tin accept them off the pillow cast at whatsoever fourth dimension to launder them in addition to re-use them afterwards on.
These pillows were crafted after nigh of the items on the Valentine Mantel were made, in addition to I wanted something on the same subject and/or color scheme.
I know, difficult to find. ;)
That's why I made them.
They are far from perfect, merely inwards my opinion, that added to the rustic experience the mantel had.
The primary stuff came from 2 patently t-shirts in addition to i sweater I bought at a thrift store, for solely i buck a piece, they were a skillful option to practise the pillows in addition to I could fifty-fifty selection whichever colors I wanted.
However, the pillow began alongside 3 pieces of textile cutting out from an onetime apartment bed sheet, taking wages of the already hemmed sides. ;)
These are the dimensions I unremarkably use.
The t-shirts in addition to sweater were diagonally marked and...Two inch strips were cutting from the forepart of each
They were set diagonally on top of the forepart slice of the pillow cover
Then, the other way, weaving them.
They were pinned inwards house in addition to the excess was trimmed some the form.
All the strips were hence zig zag stiched.
Once done sewing the strips of textile to the forepart cover, the 2 white dorsum pieces were attached to position the pillow encompass together, sewing all around.
If you're a novice at sewing similar I'm, I'll recommend you lot to skip the t-shirt fabric, it stretches likewise much!
My excuse is that all those wrinkles give them the rustic factor. :)
Anyhow, I'm enjoying them!
